Adult Christian Education
JOIN A SMALL GROUP!
It is through small groups in a big church that we find our place of belonging and connectedness. Join in community with other Christians in order to grow spiritually through study, fellowship, health & wellness, and service.
Spiritual Growth through Bible Study/Christian Book Study
THE CHRISTIAN JOURNEY SMALL GROUP: This group is looking for some new members to join in their Monday night meetings from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. This fall they are studying James using the book, Turning Towards Integrity by David Jeremiah. For more information, contact Wanda Miante at 301-972-1876.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS: Pastor Linda Motter is forming a short-term Spiritual Gifts class. Time-Out for Moms & Dads: For those in the depths of hands-on parenting, come join us for a breather, a cup of coffee and some fellowship and support, as we share the challenges and joys of raising a family. For more information and to register your need for childcare, contact Pam Richardson Colborn (301 524-5223 / pjcolborn@comcast.net).
Learning Lunches: In the near future, we will be offering to our community of retirees, the opportunity to meet for lunch, have fellowship, and to learn something new. Topics will be wide and varied as we seek to pull the stories, experiences, skills, and wisdom from our own people at DUMC and from others in our community. For more information, contact Helen Deering (301-253-6943 / hmdeering@aol.com).

Spiritual Growth through Service
EARTH ANGELS: If your gift is in caregiving, join this Band of Earth Angels to help those in our congregation through challenging times. We provide transportation, meals, baked goods, run errands, help with chores or yard work, shop, and make caring visits. You choose to do what works for you and what you like to do for those with short-term needs. Contact Pam Richardson Colborn for more information (pjcolborn@comcast.net / 301-524-5223.)
